MODU Engineering executed the Sulphide Concentrate Recovery Project - Civil Works for Asante Gold Bibiani Ltd - Ghana, with consultancy support from Jet-ROM Engineering Ltd.
This project aims to improve gold recovery rates from 65% to 92% by implementing an effective processing system for sulphide ore at a target processing rate of 4.0 Mtpa.
The scope includes designing and installing a flotation circuit for sulphide concentrate generation, fine grind milling for concentrate handling, and pre-leach and Carbon-in-Pulp (CIP) systems with pumpcell mechanisms for intensive cyanidation, leaching, and adsorption of gold.
Additionally, a pre-feasibility study has been conducted to deliver Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings and capital cost estimates (Capex) for project implementatio of the Sulphide Concentrate Recovery Project.
